Dear Baby: I wrote this song for you….

It is inspired by your unwillingness to burp and fascination of ceiling fans.  It also kept me awake and amused during your middle of the night feedings. Every time I burp you I sing you this song.

I don’t want to burp.
I don’t want to burp.
I just want to stare.
I want to stare, stare, stare
At Grandma’s ceiling fan.
I just want to stare.
I don’t want to burp.
I don’t want to burp.
I just want to fly.
I want to climb up high
On Grandma’s ceiling fan.
And I wanna fly away.
Up, up, up
Here I go.
Onto Grandma’s fan.
I’ve got my froggies and my toads
And I’m gonna fly away.
Splat, splat splat!
Splat, splat, splat!
There go my froggies and my toads.
They’re all over Grandma’s ceiling and her walls
I’d better fly away.
I’m gonna fly away.
I’m gonna fly
I’m gonna fly
I’m gonna fly away.
I’m gonna take Grandma’s curtains
and her pillow cases too
and I’m gonna make a parachute.
I’m gonna make a parachute.
