I write letters to Ellen DeGeneres.  Why? Because I Can!

Dear Ellen,

I did something awful today.  It was totally by mistake; I didn’t even realize it until I was fixing dinner this evening.  I’m worried that my mistake has completely traumatized my children.  (Takes a deep breath) While I was at the store today, I picked up some macaroni & cheese.  It wasn’t until I was making it for dinner this evening that I realized that I purchased the wheel-shaped macaroni instead of the elbow macaroni.  I don’t think my children will ever forgive me.  My only hope now is that someday they’ll both have jobs with health insurance that will cover the amount of therapy they need to make a full recovery.
