“You are a very happy man!”
“Uh huh,” my husband muttered as he sat reading the news on his tablet.
“No,” I said. “I don’t think you understand. You are a very happy man.”
“I feel like I’m supposed to ask why but I’m a little afraid to,” he said, setting down his tablet.
“You are a happy man because Station 19, Grey’s Anatomy, and The Rookie were all renewed. And the reason why this makes you happy is because it makes me happy. And if I’m happy, you’re happy.”
Looking back on that conversation, I feel like I spoke too soon. Because while all of those shows were renewed, their network, ABC, posted something very disturbing on their Instagram account. It was the fall lineup – which I took the liberty of snatching a screenshot.
At first sight it looks harmless but upon closer inspection, I realized something. Station 19 wasn’t on the fall lineup. For the last two seasons it’s been airing at 9pm on Thursdays. Now A Little Million Things was put in it’s timeslot. I enjoy A Million Little Things, so that’s fine, but where’s Station 19? I responded to ABC’s Instagram post, tagging Station 19.
And Station 19 replied – which I thought was fun. And it would’ve been even more fun if they’d answered the question I was asking. But they didn’t. See for yourself.
So I replied:
And neither ABC nor Station 19 responded to my comment. Clearly, I’m going to have to take matters into my own hands.
Once again, here is the fall lineup ABC originally posted.
And here is the new and improved lineup that I did for ABC:
As you can see, I made a few changes. Starting with Saturday Night College Football. I took that off the lineup completely because no one watches that.
I replaced it with 20/20 and Law & Order SVU.
And then I moved A Little Million Things to Wednesday’s at 9 pm. I think that’s where it was originally. I’m not sure why ABC changed it. And seriously? What gives these corporate networks the right to screw with the lineup anyway?
I put Station 19 back to its regular day and time which was Thursday at 9 pm – in case you didn’t know. And then I added 9-1-1 to the lineup also because I really think that all the firefighting shows should be on the same network.
Problem solved.
My fear is that ABC is going to pull a very rude stunt and not put Station 19 back on the air until October or WORSE!!!! Not air it at all until Fall of 2020. That just doesn’t work for me. I’m a stay-at-home-mom with small kids and an inappropriate, overactive imagination. I need my mommy porn.

Are there any changes you’d like ABC to make to the lineup? Tell me in the comments!
Thanks for shopping Snark, Sass, & Sarcasm! I’ll see you next time.
