I write letters to Ellen DeGeneres. Why? Because I Can!
Today is day 8 of the Writer’s Digest Platform Challenge. I’m happy to report I’m caught up with yesterday’s task. Today, the challenge was to share a link on either Twitter or Facebook. This was the link I chose:
http://www.wikihow.com/Use-Than-and-Then
Even as an editor, I still get these two confused. Nothing beats a free cheat sheet.
Now for the real reason you’re reading this blog:
Dear Ellen,
The other day I was folding laundry – a rare occurrence in my home. I was bored or something. Anyway, apparently a couple of infant wash cloths fell out of the laundry basket when I was taking it upstairs. They remained on the floor of the living room. Last night, my husband complained that after two days, they were still on the floor. He asked, “Why are these still down here?” My response, “Because you haven’t put them away yet.”
I put all the other laundry away….well, I folded it but it’s still in the laundry basket upstairs. Why can’t he put two wash cloths away by himself?
Sincerely,
A. Marie
I just posted this on Reddit. If get any feedback, I’ll be sure to share it on tomorrow’s blog. Not to sound masochistic, but I kinda hope it’s a mean comment. Those are always fun to write about.
